Tuned Spokeshave
For my spokeshaves I start with a model 151 flat bottomed spokeshave.
I have done the following to these spokeshaves.
The blade has been tested for proper heat treat, reground to a 13 degree bevel and pollished.
The bottom has been reground to lower the blade angle and pollished.
The throat has been widened.
The blade bed has been flattened.
The blade clamp has been trued.
